It has been a record year for the Great Taste Awards with 2021 small food producers entering just under 4,800 foods for judging. We are proud to be one of only 220 artisan producers to be awarded a 2 star Gold for our Araguani 72% Ganache Chocolate.
The Araguani 72% itself is a blend of the finest beans from Venezuela. It has a powerfully bitter base with strong liquorice, raisin and chestnut notes. Burnt aromas of honey and hot bread! Enjoy the prolonged rich aromas well after the chocolate has been consumed.

Food Inc., London’s innovative food market at Whiteleys in Bayswater, now has a range of finest chocolates from Demarquette – Fine Chocolates.
Food Inc’s dedicated approach to delighting customers with a fresh, innovative and enjoyable food shopping experience, as well as their uncompromising commitment to sourcing only the highest quality products and ingredients, perfectly mirrors the ethos behind Demarquette – Fine Chocolates.
A wide selection of Demarquette chocolates are on offer at the Bakery and Chocolate Counter including British Earl Grey Tea, Moroccan Mint Tea, Sicilian Lemon and the popular Fleur de Sel.
The UK’s first pure Wild Chocolate
Over the centuries man has cross pollinated and bred cocoa trees especially for flavour and yield to suit industrial production on a larger scale. Up until now, the UK has never been introduced to a grade A chocolate made from a pure Wild cocoa bean from cocoa trees which remain totally untampered by man. These Wild cocoa trees grow in an underdeveloped and hard to reach Amazon region of Bolivia on raised areas of land, which stick out like small islands in the middle of the swampland. We hand-mould the wild chocolate into individual bars as well as create a wild chocolate ganache as part of our ‘Demarquette Pure Collection’ of Single Origin chocolates.

Chocolatier Marc Demarquette
We are proud to announce that Chocolatier Marc Demarquette has been commissioned by Fortnum & Mason to create their unique collection of freshly hand-made luxury bespoke chocolates.
Using a variety of Fortnum & Mason’s exclusive ingredients, Marc has created the new collection of 16 exciting flavours, which was launched at the prestigious London store on 17th September. The range includes Fortnum’s Honey and signature Royal Blend Tea as well as a selection of classic Demarquette favourites such as Seville Orange and Japanese Cherry Blossom.
UK Chocolate Week great success
UK Chocolate Week (15.-21 Oct.) was another great success this year. Marc Demarquette would like to thank all customers for your support and interest. A big thank you also goes to the Chocolate Week organisers for promoting this special celebration of chocolate. During Chocolate Week, we hosted some exciting and original tasting events and chocolate launches: for example the launch of the unique Isake Sugidama Chocolate made with ISAKE Premium Red Sake, the live demonstration at Fortnum & Mason where Marc made two dark chocolate ganaches infused with Fortnum & Mason Earl Grey tea and Orange, and our 'Breakfast at Demarquette' tasting where we made fresh Waffles topped with a choice of our new range of chocolate spreads.

The chocolate bar range now consists of 20 unique flavours, including lavender, chili, cocao nibs, roast almonds, orange and peppermint.
Our nougat, which is entirely made on our premises containing no additives and using our unique blend of honey, is now also available in an attractive presentation box – ideal as a gift. The selection including plain, roses, jasmine and coconut has already caused a storm in Chelsea!

Demarquette Fine Chocolates awarded 4 medals at Chocolate Awards
London’s newest chocolate Boutique, Demarquette - Fine Chocolates has been presented with four awards in the ‘Best Filled Chocolate’ category of the Chocolate Awards during the 2006 Chocolate Week (16.-22. October). The awards were judged by the Academy of Chocolate, which promotes greater awareness and understanding of fine chocolate and by journalists, chefs and experts in chocolate and food.
